Our Mineral Makeup Ingredients

We keep our ingredient list for our mineral makeup to a minimum, that way you know you’re not getting makeup that’s loaded with chemical funk or weird dyes, etc. We are here to provide the most natural makeup we can. What other way would a Free Spirit have it?!

  • Iron Oxide: offers safe & unique colors for makeup while being hypoallergenic and safe for sensitive skin. Iron oxide is what gives the minerals their pigment.
  • Titanium Dioxide: offers powerful sun protection and some waterproofing as well. Gives you the matte look.
  • Zinc Oxide: offers protection from the sun’s harmful UV rays. Soothes the skin and is great for use if you have Rosacea or acne.
  • Mica: natural mineral offering natural shine, shimmer and glimmer. Mica is what allows you to apply mineral makeup smoothly. Translucent.

Bismuth oxychloride and talc is not used in our makeup.
Blue and purple shades contain ultramarine blue, because there is no blue oxide.
Kaolin Clay is used for oil absorption.
