When we package up our mineral makeup for you, it is not packaged by weight, but by volume. All packages are weighed and filled by hand, using gram jars.
5 gram sifter jar contains 1 gram (net weight) of minerals
10 gram sifter jar contains 3 grams (net weight) of minerals
30 gram sifter jar contains 10 grams (net weight) of minerals
1 gram of powdered mineral makeup equals about 1/2 tsp.
2 grams of powdered mineral makeup equals about 1 1/2 tsps
3 grams of powdered mineral makeup equals about 2-2 1/2 tsps
5 grams of powdered mineral makeup equals about 3-4 tsps
10 grams of powdered mineral makeup equals about 6-8 tsps
28 grams powdered mineral makeup equals about 1 ounce
Some of the minerals are heavier than others. This depends on texture, color, if it has clay in it or not.
